Just like when he played tight end in the NFL and at Arizona State, Gary brings everything he’s got to drive and grow business for his clients.

He has a proven track record of negotiating and activating hundreds of successful sponsorship agreements for brands such as Chevron, State Farm, Visa, Alltel, Dodge, America West Airlines, Chevrolet and True Value. A veteran sports marketing executive, Gary is well respected in the sports and business community for his creativity, and unbiased councel to his clients.

With deep experience on both the sides of the field, corporate and agency, Rusty offers clients big-picture strategies to navigate the complexities of sponsorships for optimal results.

His many accomplishments include implementing sponsorships for dozens of professional and collegiate sports teams, governing bodies and major sporting events. Notably, he was at the forefront of negotiating one of the most comprehensive venue naming rights deals, Reliant Park–now NRG Park.

In addition to providing marketing counsel to long-time clients Chevron, State Farm and TXU Energy, Rusty has expanded his category experience to include a host of national restaurant brands.

With a competitive spirit focused on delivering wins for our clients, Andy manages and oversees sponsorship portfolios at national and local levels.

He manages the day-to-day business of the client account management team, delivering exceptional service for each of AdSport’s clients. Andy has negotiated, implemented, and managed sponsorships with dozens of professional and collegiate sports teams. He has many notable achievements that include leading the development and activation of multiple nationwide, season-long consumer promotions. One particular program included a popular cooking competition that tapped into the passions of foodie-loving fans and amateur chefs.

From conceiving new creative offerings to implementing pragmatic technology approaches, Matt is continuously searching for new ways to generate ROI and competitive advantages for AdSport’s clients. Since 1994, when the Internet was coming to age, to this day, he has been at the forefront of emerging technologies, with a focus of creating and architecting new methods of delivering value.

As our in-house fantasy football guru, Eric applies his passion for winning to his work on behalf of our clients.

Eric assists in managing the day-to-day sponsorship portfolio, including developing activation strategies for all types of properties, ranging from minor league baseball to the NFL. He also leads the relationship for the AdSport Scholars, a partnership program between AdSport and students in Arizona State University’s Barrett Honors College who want to focus their thesis on topics in the sports industry.

With more than 20 years of experience, he has helped brand and launch products for gaming, technology, and the interactive entertainment industry for clients such as EA Sports, Eidos, Konami, Logitech, Microsoft Gaming, Namco Bandai, Sega Sports, THQ and Xbox. Brian specializes in branding, product packaging, identity systems, print, digital media, and point of purchase materials.

At AdSport, interns don’t just get our coffee. Logan is an integral part of the team and serves as a Client Activation Coordinator. He assists in the development of activation strategies for all types of properties and manages many aspects of retail promotions for our clients, including managing and creating engaging content for their social media channels.

Client Services Manager - Phoenix, AZ

AdSport is currently seeking a creative and energetic sports marketer to help activate and manage our clients’ sponsorship portfolios.

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Client Services Manager is responsible for managing AdSport’s day-to-day relationships with assigned clients, properties, teams, leagues, and vendors. The Client Services Manager serves as the primary liaison between clients and properties, and is responsible for ensuring that the client’s interests are being protected at all times.

SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables
  • Build relationships with clients and properties through frequent communication, both responsive and preemptive in nature
  • Maintain excellent relationship with key accounts and vendors, and manage day-to-day account specific financials
  • Coordinates and reviews all major deliverables and advertising assets (In-Stadium, Digital, and Print) to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met
  • Coordinate creation and delivery of features and collateral, work with vendors to ensure accurate and on-time arrival
  • Assist in negotiation and administration of new and existing sponsorship contracts
  • Schedule/Plan hospitality events & manage season/single game ticket inventory
  • Garner approval from client, properties, and leagues for promotions and sweepstakes
  • Manage promotions on behalf of clients, to include but not limited to:
    • Coordinate design of artwork
    • Seek approval for collateral materials
    • Develop official rules
    • Select and contact contest winners
    • Confirm Winners eligibility
    • Create promotion recap for clients

REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of the sports industry and sponsorships in particular
  • Multi-task oriented with the ability to work within demanding timeframes and a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills
  • Independent, self-motivated and creative
